How to deal with your anxiety in the moment ?
That feeling when you’re overwhelmed by hundreds of thoughts altogether and think you won’t be able to function anymore. I know it’s difficult. I know those intrusive thoughts are stressful and sometimes degrading. Just take a moment and start focusing on your breath.
Focus on your breath and observe how you heart beats and your lungs get full while you breathe in and slowly let go of all those troublesome thoughts as you breathe out.
Anxiety and panic begin when all of your attention is on your thoughts. The most basic thing to remember while having a panic attack or going through severe anxiety is to quickly shift your focus from the mental to the physical aspects of your being. Breathing techniques can help you calm down and switch from the sympathetic to the parasympathetic nervous system. Learn a few breathing techniques and record a guided meditation in your own voice to help yourself in the future. And as I firmly believe, Guided meditations will help you very much in the long run. So Start practising, It’s never too late
